This version of 'Nessun Dorma' (from the opera 'Turandot' by Puccini) was originally recorded in 1973 and was the official BBC Grandstand World Cup Theme for Italia'90, reaching (an unprecedented for a classical piece of music) number 2 in the UK singles chart that summer.

''O Sol Mio!' was originally recorded in 1979, and in the following year, Pavarotti won a Grammy for a performance of that song, albeit not this version.

Sleeve cover states: Pavarotti sings Nessun Dorma. Artist credited with his full name on labels and rear of the sleeve.
